Hi Everyone,
Welcome back, and sorry we were away for a while. We should be here at http://galaxyharvester.net for a while now!
We're running in a new environment which required some adjusting, so I did some testing and fixed some things that needed fixing, but if you find anything amiss, please report it here, or to galaxyharvester@gmail.com.
As always, thanks for updating the site, and happy hunting!

A wave of change hit SWG Emu while I was out of touch for a week or so. Thanks to your heads up though, Galaxy Harvester was set up for the new Liberator galaxy a couple days ago. The resources have already started flowing in, so it looks like that will not be news to many. Today, a new galaxy was also added for the seventh wipe of Test Center with the object restructure code.
While things have been pretty quiet, work has been continuing on some of the larger features suggested over on the suggestions page. At least one of them is getting close to completion though, so hopefully it can be released soon. Please share any new ideas you may have as well, the suggestions page is always open. Or if you're new to the site with the Liberator server opening up, consider voting on the ideas there too.

It's a fresh new galaxy again, and it's sure to happen many more times. "TC Nova O.R. 2" is the new active galaxy if you're tracking resources during testing. While Galaxy Harvester is much less utilized in an active testing, blue frog environment, we'll continue to refresh to a new galaxy for each wipe as long as people are using it. And who knows, maybe we'll even get a few new features set up in time for Suncrusher!
Happy Testing!

Well, the wipe party is over and it's time to get back to work with some real testing. With the complete wipe in game, we will also be starting over from scratch here at Galaxy Harvester. The old "TC Nova" galaxy will be frozen, and the new galaxy available in the galaxy drop down list at the top right of ever page named "TC Nova OR Wipe" will be open for resource reports. New visitors will default to the new galaxy, but if your a GH regular, you may need to select the new galaxy from the drop down once.
See you in the OR!

Well, the people have spoken and today we bring you the top voted suggestion so far. Suggested by jmatt, the new survey verify tool brings you a new easy way to check for resource changes. Just select a planet and survey tool to bring up a list of current available resources as listed on Galaxy Harvester for easy comparison to what you see in game. You can then use the verify or remove checkboxes and the buttons at the top of the list to clear out the old, or verify what is still sticking around. There is also a quick resource add box below the planet and tool selection so you can add in those new ones without leaving the screen.
Thanks again for the suggestion jmatt! If you haven't already voted or submitted your suggestions, be sure to head over and put in your 2 credits here. It looks like favorites is the current leader of the pack now, so that will most likely be the next thing to get done.

Really, I want to know. Head on over to the feedback page and submit a suggestion for the site, or vote on ones already there. A few suggestions that we have gotten from people by email so far have already been added. If you have a suggestion, it might be a good idea to browse or search the ones already there to see if someone else already had the same idea.
We want to use this not only as a way to find out what you want to see on the site, but also as a guide to what most people are most interested in. That way we know what features to work on first. But that will only work if you cast your votes!

You may have noticed that advertisements were removed from the site recently. For various reasons that may be obvious, it wasn't a very good fit for the site. Think ads for agriculture equipment, and combine that with people who appreciate Galaxy Harvester, but really aren't interested in things that really aren't remotely related, and we had something that probably didn't work well for anyone.
For those who find the application useful, we've set up a new way for you to contribute to keeping us running. There is a button on the home page which you have probably already seen you can click to make a donation to the site. Your donation will help to pay for art, development, and hosting of Galaxy Harvester, keeping the lights on and new features coming your way. We appreciate any donation you can give, and if you can't, everyone appreciates your continuted contributions to updating resource information on Galaxy Harvester.
Thanks,

I sometimes find myself searching old websites trying to find which creatures drop a certain type of hide, meat, or bone. Now we can get the information right here on Galaxy Harvester. Click on a resource type link to go to it's page and you will now find a list of creatures that that resource type can be harvested from. Here is an example Dathomir Carnivore Meat.
A few other updates are listed here:
- Resource Group ID is now included in the xml and csv export files.
- You can now do a quick search by resource type from the home page.
- Other basic resource type information such as Min/Max stats have been added to the Resource Type pages

Today, not only have the number of schematics available to view here more than doubled to 1,366 - the tools for finding them has been refined a bit. If you head over to the schematics page, you can try out the new Schematic Finder which now lets you choose either a resource group or specific resource type and find schematics that call for it. Just to be helpful, the tool will also bring up related schematics in a list next to the primary ones. The related schematics will be either schematics that call for a specific type under the group you picked, or ones that call for the generic group or any type under it for the type you picked. If that is as clear as mud, give it a try and it should be a bit more clear.
There's also a few smaller changes of note live now:
- A new resource type page will be shown when you click the name of a resource type or group somewhere in the site. Instead of just displaying recent spawns of the type, it will also provide the best spawns of it, and a list of schematics that use it. Here is an example: Intrusive Ore.
- Internet Explorer users should be able to see the View controls at the top of the Resource List page now.
- Internet Explorer users should be able to stay logged in and have other cookies persist after closing your browser instead of your preferences being lost every visit.
